(A) The town shall run a service line for sewer from its collection line to the property line where the collection line runs immediately adjacent and parallel to the property to be served and for which a tappage or connection fee for each size tap will be charged, together with any line charges or other charges as may be required by this chapter. This shall be done only after the application has been filed and all fees and charges paid. The installation of the service line shall be performed by licensed plumbers only at the expense of the owner or occupant.
(B) It shall be the responsibility of the Plumbing Inspector to examine and inspect the installation of the service line between the street right-of-way and the building. This examination shall be made during the installation and prior to covering the ditch to ascertain that proper materials have been used and proper construction practices followed.
