§ 33.31  AUXILIARY POLICE FORCE ESTABLISHED.
   (A)   The Auxiliary Police Force may be established in the town pursuant to G.S. § 160A-282.
   (B)   While undergoing official training and performing duties on behalf of the town pursuant to orders or instructions of the Chief of Police, auxiliary police officers shall be entitled to all powers, privileges and immunities afforded by law to regularly employed police officers, including benefits under the State Workers’ Compensation Act.
