§ 33.04  POLICE OFFICERS; POWERS.
   (A)   All police officers shall have, within the corporate limits of the town and within one mile of the corporate limits, all of the powers invested in law enforcement officers by ordinance, statute or common law.
   (B)   In addition thereto, police officers may pursue for a distance of not more than three miles outside the corporate limits of the town for the purpose of making an arrest, those offenders who have committed an offense within the corporate limits of the town which would authorize a police officer to arrest the offender without a warrant as provided by law.
   (C)   The members of the Police Department shall have authority to make arrests without a warrant in all cases provided by law.
