(A) The Board shall adopt rules governing its organization and for all proceedings before it.
(B) At the first meeting, or the first meeting after the membership of the Board has been changed through the expiration of one or more terms, the Board shall elect a Chairperson and a Vice-Chairperson from within its membership. The Chairperson or the Vice-chairperson in the Chairperson’s absence shall preside at all meetings. The Chairperson of the Board or the Vice-chairperson is authorized in his or her official capacity to administer oaths to witnesses in any matter coming before the Board.
(C) The Board shall appoint a secretary and such other officers as may be authorized by the Town Board. The secretary may be an employee of the town upon approval of the Mayor of Sharpsburg.
