It shall be unlawful for any person to willfully and intentionally deface, injure, destroy, damage, or mischievously interfere with any hydrant, fountain, pump, pipe, main, or any other part of lighting system, water system, or other public works of the town, or to remove any signal, lantern, street sign or marker, or other safeguards placed by the town or its agents or employees.
