(A) Every permit issued under the provisions of this chapter shall be valid for a period of one year, except as noted.
(B) The applicant shall file with the Chief of Police a renewal application.
(C) Permits are renewable on January 1 of each year.
(D) Upon the expiration of any permit issued under the provisions of this chapter, the Chief of Police may, upon application filed in the form and giving the information required in the original application, renew and extend the permit for an additional period of 12 months.
