§ 115.26  DISPLAY OF PERMIT.
   (A)   The driver’s permit shall be conspicuously displayed where the same may be seen by occupants of the rear seat in any taxicab operated by the permittee and it shall be unlawful for any person to operate or for any owner to permit to be operated, any taxicab by any person other than the operator designated in the permit displayed in the taxicab.
   (B)   (1)   Permits for limousine drivers must be available in the vehicle the driver is operating and be submitted for inspection upon request of any passenger or police official.
      (2)   Failure to have a valid permit in the vehicle shall constitute cause for suspension of the permit.
