§ 71.04  STOP INTERSECTIONS.
   (A)   Those intersections described in Chapter 73, Schedule II, are hereby declared to be stop intersections when entered from the through streets first named.  When stop signs are placed, erected or installed at these intersections, every driver of a vehicle shall stop in obedience to the signs before entering the intersection and shall not proceed into or across the through street until he or she has first determined that no conflict will be involved.

   (B)   When stop signs are placed, erected or installed at intersections declared to be four-way stop intersections, every driver of a vehicle shall stop in obedience to the signs before entering the intersection from either street of the intersection and shall not proceed or cross until he or she has first determined that no conflict will be involved.
