Those intersections described in Chapter 73, Schedule I, are hereby declared to be traffic signal intersections and the traffic shall be controlled at these intersections by the traffic-control signals erected there in accord with the legend set forth in § 70.17. All traffic shall obey the signal being emitted with respect to the street upon which traffic is operating.
