§ 52.01  ADJUSTMENTS TO PRIOR BILLINGS.
   If, through an erroneous billing practice, a customer has been billed to his or her detriment, the town will adjust the bill for a period of six months or for the duration of the erroneous condition, whichever is shorter.  If through an erroneous billing practice a customer has benefitted by receiving a smaller bill, the town reserves the right to go back six months or the duration of the practice, whichever is shorter.  In the event of fraud, no time limitation will be valid.
