§ 51.096  CONNECTION FEES.
   (A)   During construction of the town sewer collection system and within 180 days after the date of completion thereof, the connection fees shall be as follows:
      (1)   As to property within the town limits on September 1, 1978, and upon which improvements (a completed building or dwelling) existed on the date of the completion of the town sewer collection system, there shall be no connection fee.
      (2)   As to unimproved property within the town limits on September 1, 1978, (vacant lot), the connection fee shall be the actual cost of the connection, including materials and labor, for installation of the sewer line and tap, but no tap fee shall be charged.
      (3)   As to property within the town limits on September 1, 1978, but upon which improvements (a building or dwelling) were completed during 180 days after the date of the completion of the town sewer collection system, the connection fee shall be the same as for property connected after the expiration of 180 days after completion of the town sewer collection system, as provided in division (B).
      (4)   As to property annexed to the town after September 1, 1978, the connection fee shall be the same as for property connected after the expiration of 180 days after completion of the town sewer collection system, as provided in division (B).
   (B)   (1)   Residential sewers.

      (3)   In addition, the actual costs of the installation of any extension of the sewer line, including labor and materials, in order to make the connection to the town’s sewer system shall be charged.
      (4)   If road has to be cut to install water or sewer line or both, a fee as set forth in the Town Schedule of Rates and Fees, a copy of which is located in the office of the Town Clerk and is incorporated herein by reference, will be paid by the property owner.
