Before the applicant for a permit required by this chapter may commence any sand blasting work, he or she shall give at least three days written notice to owners and occupants of buildings immediately adjacent to or near the building on which the proposed sand blasting is to be done. The applicant shall submit evidence to the Code Enforcement Officer, in a form satisfactory to the Code Enforcement Officer, that such notice has been given.
