(a) Title. This chapter shall be known as the Sharon Electrical Code and may be so cited.
(b) Scope. The provisions of this chapter shall apply to the installation of electric conductors and equipment installed within or on public and private buildings and other premises, including yards, carnival and parking lots and industrial substations; to the conductors that connect the installations to a supply of electricity, and other outside conductors adjacent to the premises; and to mobile homes and travel trailers. The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to installations in mines, ships, railway cars, aircraft or automotive equipment, or the installation of equipment employed by a railway, electric or communication utility in the exercise of its function as a utility, and located outdoors or in buildings used exclusively for that purpose.
