A license required by this Chapter shall not be transferable. In the event of a transfer of ownership, whether it be legal or equitable, of a dwelling or dwelling unit regulated by this Chapter, the license shall expire on the thirtieth (30th) day following said transfer. It shall be the responsibility of the new owner to notify the Code Enforcement Officer of said transfer within five (5) days from the date of said transfer and apply for and qualify for a new license.
