It is the purpose and spirit of this chapter to prohibit discrimination against individuals or groups of individuals by reason of their race, color, religious creed, ancestry, handicap or disability, use of guide dogs because of blindness or deafness of the user, age, sex or national origin, in accordance with the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, as the same may be from time to time amended. As used in this chapter, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act relates to the Act of October 27, 1955 (P.L. 744), as amended.
