It is the purpose of this chapter to set forth fees representing the reasonable reimbursement of actual expenses incurred by the City in the provision of services or materials generally affecting the health, safety and general welfare of the residents of the City and to further consolidate into a single ordinance fees and charges presently in existence and set forth in prior legislation. It is intended that this chapter shall, with respect to the amount of the fees set forth herein, supersede all prior existing ordinances insofar as they are contrary to, or in conflict with, the fees set forth in this chapter. Further, it is the desire and intent of Council that amendments to the amounts set forth in this chapter shall likewise act as an amendment to the original legislation insofar as the fees set forth in the original legislation are in conflict with the fees set forth herein.
