4-4-1: DEFINITIONS:
PRIVATE TREE: Any tree located on private property.
PUBLIC TREE: Any tree located within street rights of way, parkways, parks and public places of the village.
TREE: Shall include trees, shrubs, bushes, hedges, vines and other woody vegetation.
VILLAGE FORESTER: The district forester appointed by the Illinois department of natural resources shall serve as the consulting village forester. (Ord. 279, 3-7-2000)
