4-2-2: PREPARATION OF SOLID WASTE; CONTAINER REQUIREMENTS:
   A.   Garbage: Garbage shall be placed in plastic bags inside enclosed solid metal or plastic containers with a tightfitting lid provided by the owner or occupant of each dwelling unit served. Containers shall be sufficiently durable to withstand repeated handling, and each such container shall not exceed thirty (30) gallons in capacity. The total weight of any container, including its contents, shall not exceed sixty (60) pounds.
   B.   Refuse: Refuse shall be placed in plastic bags or cardboard cartons, provided they can be lifted reasonably and fit in the compactor.
   C.   Newspapers, Magazines And Cardboard: Newspapers, magazines, and cardboard must be securely bundled or boxed.
   D.   Tree Branches And Trimmings And Wood: Small tree branches, tree trimmings and wood not over four inches (4") in width or thickness and three feet (3') in length need not be placed in containers if securely bundled. (Ord. 198, 8-5-1986)
