A. Regular Meetings: The regular meetings of the village board of trustees shall be held on the first Tuesday in each calendar month at the hour of seven o'clock (7:00) P.M., at the village hall situated in the village. (1916 Code § 2-1; amd. 2011 Code)
B. Special Meetings: Special meetings of the village board of trustees shall be called by the village clerk whenever he shall be directed, in writing, to do so by the president, or by any three (3) trustees. Upon receipt of such request, the village clerk shall prepare a notice of such special meeting, stating therein the time, place and purpose of such meeting, which shall be signed by him, authenticated by the seal of the village and personally served upon each member of the village trustees at least forty eight (48) hours before the time of such meeting. No business shall be transacted at such meeting except that specified in the request and notice for the same. (1916 Code § 2-2; amd. 2011 Code)
