A. Repairs Required: All public street, alley, and sidewalk pavement shall be in good repair. Such repair work, whether done by the village or by the abutting owner, shall be under the supervision of the superintendent of public works.
B. Defects Reported: It shall be the duty of every village officer and employee becoming cognizant of any defect in any street, alley or sidewalk, or any obstruction thereof, to report the same to the superintendent of public works as soon as possible. (2011 Code)
