Title VI of the 1974 Housing and Community Development Act, as amended (previously known as the Federal Mobile Home Construction and Safety Act), rules and regulations adopted hereunder from information provided by manufacturers and approved by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and regulations and interpretations of the code by the State Department of Commerce, all of which became effective for mobile/manufactured home construction on 6-15-1976, shall be utilized as the minimum construction standard of the city to which all mobile homes shall comply when brought into the city and placed in a mobile home park. These regulations are also known as the HUD Code.
