§ 153.02 GENERAL PROVISIONS.
   (A)   No land shall be divided prior to approval of a minor partition, major partition or subdivision in accordance with this chapter.
   (B)   No sale or conveyance of any portion of a lot, for other than a public purpose, shall leave a structure on the remainder of a lot with less than the minimum lot, yard or setback requirements of the zoning district.
   (C)   Land division is processed by approval of a tentative plan prior to approval of the final land division plat or map. Where a Type II or Type III procedure is required for land division approval, that procedure shall apply to the tentative plan approval. As long as there is compliance with the approved tentative plan and conditions, the Director shall have the authority to approve final plats and maps for land divisions through a Type I procedure.
