§ 110.12 EXAMINING BOOKS, RECORDS OR PERSONS.
   The city, for the purpose of ascertaining the correctness of any license application, or for the purpose of estimating the license fee, may examine or may cause to be examined, by an agent or representative designated by it, any books, papers or payroll records, state or federal payroll reports, bearing upon the matter.
