§ 71.142 SEMI-TRUCK TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS ON LOCAL ROADS.
   (A)   Definitions. For the purpose of this section, SEMI, SEMI-TRUCK or TRUCK means a semi-trailer truck cab with a trailer.
   (B)   Restrictions. Semi-truck traffic is restricted on the following local roads:
      (1)   From 209 N. Locust Drive, then south on Locust Drive to Schleter Road.
   (C)   Exemptions. The semi-truck restrictions prescribed in this section shall not apply to road repair, construction or maintenance vehicles while involved in the repair, construction or maintenance of infrastructure.
   (D)   Signs. The Department of Public Works shall post appropriate signs and markings on the above described public street(s) clearly indicating the prohibition of semi-trucks. All such signs shall conform to the manual and specifications for a uniform system of traffic control devices as used by the Indiana Department of Highways. Additional signs may be installed at other locations to properly identify local truck routes.
