§ 35.06 PETTY CASH FUND.
   (A)   There is hereby established in the Office of the Clerk-Treasurer a fund known as the "Seymour Department of Public Works Petty Cash Fund," pursuant to I.C. 36-1-3 et seq. This fund is separate from the city’s General Fund and money in the "Seymour Department of Public Works Petty Cash Fund" at the end of a fiscal year does not revert to the city’s General Fund or to any other fund.
   (B)   The purpose of the Petty Cash Fund is for the payment of minor, miscellaneous expenses of the Department of Public Works. The Fund is to be under direct supervision and control of the Director of the Department of Public Works.
   (C)   Distribution of money from the fund shall be made without the necessity of first obtaining and appropriation from the City Council.
   (D)   The total cash on hand in the fund shall not exceed the sum of $100.
   (E)   The Fund shall be reimbursed, on a line item basis, at the next available claims period for each amount used.
   (F)   All disbursements from the Fund shall be for the purposes stated above. Theses disbursements shall be made upon the directive of the Director of the Department of Public Works and shall be the sole responsibility of the Director.
