(A) Pursuant to I.C. 36, the City Council creates a non-reverting fund for accumulation of assets recovered, seized, and forfeited by the city Police Department during criminal investigations to be known as the city Police Department Forfeiture Fund.
(B) The funds accumulated in the city Police Department Forfeiture Fund shall be utilized only for those purposes set forth in the U.S. Code and the Indiana Code governing the recovery, seizure, and forfeiture of assets accumulated during the investigation of criminal felons and misdemeanants.
