§ 35.15 DEPARTMENT PETTY CASH FUND.
   (A)   There is established in the Office of the Clerk-Treasurer of the city a non-reverting fund known as the Parks and Recreation Department Petty Cash Fund, pursuant to I.C. 36-1-3 et seq. The Fund is to be controlled by the Superintendent of Parks and Recreation and the Parks and Recreation Board.
   (B)   The purpose of the Petty Cash Fund is for the payment of fees to sports league officials for officiating games and recreational activities supervised by the Parks and Recreation Department for the various athletic leagues, tournaments, and other events conducted by or under the direction of the Department. Distribution of money from the Petty Cash Fund shall be made without the necessity of first obtaining an appropriation from the City Council.
   (C)   All disbursements from the Petty Cash Fund shall be for the purposes stated above. These disbursements shall be made upon the directive of the Parks and Recreation Department Director and shall be the sole responsibility of the Director and his or her staff.
