(A) The Board of Public Works and Safety shall have review authority for all police and fire disciplinary matters where the discipline requested by the Chief, or agreed to by the officer to be disciplined, is in excess of five days suspension.
(B) The Board of Public Works and Safety review authority shall include approval, denial, or a neutral recommendation, as determined by the Board. No discipline in excess of five days shall be final until the Board makes its determination in accordance with this review authority.
