Upon receipt of the application, as mentioned above, the Clerk-Treasurer shall cause the application to be forwarded to the Chief of Police of the city, who shall inspect the premises to ascertain if all requirements of this chapter are complied with and file, within ten days thereafter, his or her written report of that inspection.
