For the purpose of this chapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
JUNK YARD, JUNK FACILITY, or JUNK PLACE. Any of the following:
(1) Any yard, place, or facility where junk, including but not limited to iron, other metals, and all other types of scrap materials, is stored, or kept for future sale or exchange;
(2) Any yard, place, or facility where junk, including but not limited to iron, other metals, and all types of scrap materials, is bought, sold, or exchanged;
(3) Any yard, place, or facility where one or more inoperative, or partially or totally wrecked motor vehicles are stored, bought, held for sale or storage, sold, or exchanged; or
(4) Any yard, place, or facility where one or more inoperative, or partially or totally wrecked motor vehicles are dismantled, or intended to be dismantled, for the purpose of salvage, sale, or exchange of either mechanical parts, or component portions, of those motor vehicles.
