It shall be unlawful for a peddler, transient merchant, itinerant merchant, itinerant vendor, solicitor or canvasser to engage in such business within the limits of the city without first obtaining a license therefore in compliance with the provisions of this subchapter. Operators of mobile food vehicles shall be excepted from the requirement to obtain a peddlers and solicitors license and instead shall be required to obtain a license under the provisions of § 111.30.
