Fees paid to file an application for the permit described herein, and all charges relative to false alarms, shall be paid directly to the Fire or Police Department. All fees paid directly to the police shall be dedicated, cumulatively, and shall be non-reverting for the upgrading of response by the police to burglary, hold-up, and robbery alarms. The dedication shall include the acquisition of appropriate equipment and related paraphernalia pertaining thereto. All fees paid directly to the Fire Department shall be dedicated, cumulatively, and shall be non- reverting for the upgrading of response by the Fire Department to fire, smoke, excessive heat, explosion, and drop in water pressure alarms. The dedication shall include acquisition of appropriate equipment and related paraphernalia pertaining thereto. The office of the Clerk-Treasurer of the city shall maintain in its records these dedicated funds on a cumulative basis.
