(A) The Planning Commission may authorize alternative fire protection in place of fire hydrants when hydrants are not feasible, and the applicant demonstrates that the proposed method is sufficient. Engineering certification may be required.
(B) The Planning Commission may require additional fire protection or policies when, because of the location, type of natural features or other factors contributing to fire danger, other precautions are deemed necessary.
