(A) That a certain document, three copies of which are on file in the office of the County Clerk/Auditor of, being marked and designated as the International Fuel Gas Code, 2021 edition, including Appendix Chapters B to D, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Fuel Gas Code of the county for regulating and governing fuel gas systems and gas-fired appliances as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Fuel Gas Code on file in the office of the County Clerk/Auditor are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this section, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in division (B) below.
(B) The following sections are hereby revised:
(1) Section 101.1: SEVIER COUNTY;
(2) Section 106.6.2.: 1997 UBC FEE SCHEDULE;
(3) Section 106.6.3.: 80%–80%;
(4) Section 108.4.: CLASS C MISDEMEANOR–$750.00–90 DAYS; and
(5) Section 108.5.: $750.00–$750.00.
(C) Nothing in this section or in the Fuel Gas Code hereby adopted shall be construed to affect any suit or proceeding impending in any court, or any rights acquired, or liability incurred, or any cause or causes of action acquired or existing, under any act or ordinance hereby repealed as cited in division (B) above; nor shall any just or legal right or remedy of any character be lost, impaired or affected by this section.
