10-2-6: TRAFFIC ENGINEER:

The office of Traffic Engineer is hereby established. The Chief of Police shall serve as Traffic Engineer in addition to other functions, and shall exercise the powers and duties with respect to traffic as provided in this Title. The term "Traffic Engineer" as used in this Code, shall refer to the Chief of Police in all instances, except in those instances where the particular function involved requires the attention of a licensed engineer.
