It shall be unlawful for any person to use, occupy or maintain for living purposes a travel trailer or mobile home on any area or tract of land in the City zoned for residential or commercial purposes unless the travel trailer or mobile home is located upon or in an area designated as a mobile home park, and which mobile home park has a permit from the City to operate in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Chapter.
A temporary, special permit for the use or maintenance of a mobile home for living purposes on a private lot during the construction period of a dwelling on the lot may be granted by the Council on recommendation of the Building Department if the applicant can present sufficient proof, substantiated by the Building Department, that the construction period of the house is necessarily longer than the stipulated six (6) month period.
