§ 130.40 PETIT LARCENY.
   (A)   Definition. PETIT LARCENY is the taking of personal property of value, not to exceed $500, accomplished by fraud or stealth and with intent to deprive another thereof, when the property is not taken from the person of another.
   (B)   Prohibited. Petit larceny is unlawful, and any person who commits petit larceny is guilty of a misdemeanor.
