§ 130.20 ASSAULT AND BATTERY.
   (A)   Definitions. For the purpose of this section, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly requires a different meaning.
      ASSAULT. Any wilful and unlawful attempt or offer, with force or violence, to do a corporal hurt to another.
      BATTERY. Any wilful and unlawful use of force or violence upon the person of another.
   (B)   Prohibitions. It is unlawful to commit an assault or an assault and battery within the town, and any person committing an assault or an assault and battery within the town is guilty of a misdemeanor.
