For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly requires a different meaning.
ANTIQUE, CLASSIC OR SPECIAL INTEREST AUTOMOBILE. Any vehicle 25 years or older or which the owner thereof can affirmatively show to be of special interest to automobile collectors.
JUNK VEHICLE. Any “motor vehicle” or “vehicle”, as defined herein, which is wrecked, dismantled, partially dismantled, inoperative, abandoned or discarded, except an antique, classic or special interest automobile.
MOTOR VEHICLE. Any vehicle which is self-propelled and designed to travel along the ground or water, and the term shall include, but is not limited to, automobiles, boats, buses, motorbikes, motor scooters, trucks, tractors, go-carts and golf carts.
PRIVATE PROPERTY. Any real property within the town which is not public property.
PUBLIC PROPERTY. Any real property which is dedicated to the public use which the federal or any state or municipal government, or any political subdivisions thereof, owns or leases, or exercises control and dominion over for public purposes.
VEHICLE. A machine propelled by power other than human power, designed to travel along the ground by use of wheels, treads, runners or slides and used to transport persons or property or pull machinery and includes, without limitation, an automobile, truck-trailer, motorcycle, tractor, buggy and wagon.
