(A) Employees of the town employed or otherwise assigned to enforce provisions of this subchapter shall complete certification training specifically applicable to this section as adopted and administered by the state’s Code Enforcement Association, an internationally recognized model code organization, career technical education program or an institution of higher education.
(B) The certification training shall be completed within one year of employment or assignment for such enforcement.
