All signs shall be constructed in such a manner and installed with such materials so as to be considered safe and appropriate by the City Building Inspector. The applicant may be required to provide information including but not limited to a copy of stress sheets and calculations showing the structures as designed for dead load and wind velocity in the amount required for compliance with all applicable codes, ordinances, and regulations adopted by the City. No sign shall be attached to a standpipe, gutter drain, unbraced parapet wall, or fire escape.
