(A) The President of the village shall be paid a monthly salary equal to the sum of $60 for each regular meeting, general or special, of the Village Council actually attended by him or her during his or her term of office.

(B) The Trustees of the village shall be paid a monthly salary equal to the sum of $50 for each regular meeting, general or special, of the Village Council attended during his or her term of office.

(C) The President and Trustees shall be compensated only for those meetings actually attended.
(D) The salary due the President and each Trustee for meetings actually attended may be payable on the first payroll of each new month.

(E) The rate of compensation as set forth herein may be amended by resolution of the Village Council.
(F) When the Village President Pro-Tem serves in the absence of the President, he or she shall be compensated at the same rate as the President for each regular meeting, general or special meeting of the Village Council attended during his or her term of office.
