The County Quorum Court determines that, upon service for any civil or criminal complaint, the County Judge, Prosecuting Attorney or any other elected official or employee receiving that service shall promptly notify any party or parties named in the action. The Prosecuting Attorney, in his or her capacity, as counsel for the county, shall provide the County Quorum Court with his or her assessment of the cause of action and any action that may be required.
