For purposes of finding the original ordinance as passed, each section bears a reference in parenthesis at the end thereof citing such original ordinance and date of its passage or publication, but said reference shall not be deemed a part of the ordinance. When inserting added ordinances or amendments, the City Clerk-Treasurer shall include such references to maintain these systematic helps.
