Each section number of this code shall consist of two parts separated by a period, the figure before the period referring to the chapter number and the figure after the period referring to the position of the section in the chapter. The latter figure shall consist of two digits, except in chapters divided into subchapters when the figures after the period shall consist of four digits, the first two to indicate the number of the subchapter and the last two the section therein.
