§ 30.11 ORDER AND NOTICE FOR REMOVAL.
   The Council may declare all dead or Dutch elm disease infected elm trees, brush, wood, limbs or debris to be a public nuisance and order their removal and destruction by the owner, occupant or agent in charge of the property on which they are located. The Council shall cause written notice of such order to be served on the owner, occupant or agent. The notice shall require removal and destruction within a stated number of days, not less than 21 days from the service of the notice. Such notice shall also advise the owner, occupant or agent that if he or she fails to comply therewith, the city shall cause the work, removal or destruction to be done and assess the costs to the property.
