§ 30.10 INSPECTION FOR INFECTED TREES.
   Whenever the presence of Dutch elm disease is suspected in any area in the city, the Council shall cause an inspection to be made by qualified personnel. If the inspection reveals dead elm trees, wood or limbs or any trees, brush, wood, limbs or debris infected by Dutch elm disease, the person making the inspection is authorized, as the representative of the Council, to issue a notice ordering removal of such dead or infected trees, brush, wood, limbs or debris. The personnel making such inspection are authorized to make such marks on the dead or infected trees, brush, wood, limbs or debris as are appropriate to designate them for removal. A written report of all inspections made, including recommendations for action ordered by the person making the inspection, shall be filed at the office of the Clerk-Treasurer.
