(A) Pursuant to KRS 527.020(2), all police officers of the city are authorized to carry concealed deadly weapons on or about their persons at all times with the commonwealth.
(B) The Mayor is authorized to issue appropriate certificates evidencing the foregoing authorization for the carrying of concealed deadly weapons.
(C) This section shall be in full force and effect upon signature, recordation, and publication.
