(A) (1) It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to obstruct, hinder, or in any way interfere with the Fire Department or any member thereof, the machinery or any of the fixtures of the same, at or after the sounding of the fire alarm and the provisions of this section shall be in force, whether the alarm so given shall be true, false, or a practice run by the Fire Department.
(2) This division (A) shall be and become a law on and after its passage, publication, and approval as the law directs.
(B) (1) The Fire Prevention Code, most current edition, made and adopted by the Commonwealth Commissioner of Public Safety, a copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby adopted and incorporated as part of this code of ordinances as fully as if set out at length herein.
(2) A copy of this division (B) shall be sent to said Division of Fire Prevention of the Department of Public Safety.
(3) The Chief of the Fire Department, along with all other officers, agents, and employees of the city be and they are hereby charged with the enforcement of the provisions of the Fire Prevention Code, most current edition.
(4) The imposition of the penalties prescribed shall not preclude the city from instituting an appropriate action or proceeding to prevent an unlawful erection, construction, reconstruction, alternation, repair, conversion, maintenance, or use, or to restrain, correct, or abate a violation, or to prevent the occupancy of a building, structure, or premises, or to prevent an illegal act, conduct, business, or use in or about any premises.
(5) This division (B) shall be effective immediately after its acceptance, approval and publication as required by law.
