(A) All property, streets, and alleys owned by the city may be used for the construction of additions to the sewer system of the city.
(B) Since all of its sewer lines and pumping stations have been in open, peaceable, continuous, and adverse use by the city, with the acquiescence in such use by the owners of the property upon which the sewer lines and pumping stations are located for a period of time exceeding 15 years, the city has acquired easements for such sewer lines and pumping stations by prescription.
